One Great Flick Posted by Hello

The Fiddler on the Roof

Mw family and I just watched the Fiddler on the Roof again. This is one of our favorites and is a great movie. I just don't know how we manage to sit through a movie that doesn't have any nudity, sexual connotations, no foul language, doesn't take the name of the Lord in vain, nobody or nothing gets blown up, no guns, no murder, no rape, nothing getting stolen. How could that movie be any good at all? I don't know, but it sure is.

Now what? Posted by Hello

Isn't The Crow Unusually Good Tonight?

Well, The Bush administration blew it! They came out today and admitted that there "are" no WMD's to be found in Iraq and the media is eating it up. Obviously they have some answering to do. The report, however, does not say that there never "were" any WMD's. Even the Clinton administration had information that he did have them and we all know this is something Saddam did on a regular basis. But, the Press wants to see them in person and they will not get to do it. The search has been called off and the Bush administration has made its findings known and now we move on. Some argue that there never were and that is why there are none to be found. Others would say that there were and we gave Saddam too much time to move them and so they are across the border in Syria. What do you think?

Left-Wing Conspiracy in the Media? NAAAAAAA

Well, I have often had to eat crow in my life and have actually learned to aquire a taste for it. However, there is nothing better than inviting others to partake when necessary. A couple of months ago, during the infamous presidential election, I made certian comments, and am still making them, that the media was a bunch of left wing, radical liberals that hated Bush and were using their media strength to get Kerry elected and Bush defeated. In other words, my claim was that there was political bias in the media. Of course my accusation was further inflamed by the Dan Rather debaucle. Many told me that they felt like Dan and the boys (and girls) at CBS did not have a political bias and had no idea that these documents were fake or forged. Well, to the contrary, the independant report has come out and the axe has swung. The fallout of course was Mrs. Mapes and others at CBS being fired. In fact, Mrs Mapes was guilty of calling the Kerry headquarters and asking them if they were interested in talking about the story. Even the Kerry campaign had enough integrity not to touch this journalist mess! Anyway, the fact is, there was political bias on the part of those involved in the story, including Mr. Rather who it seems knew afterward it was a scam and continually tried to bully his way through making it seem legitimate! It didn't work Dano! But Dano is out, Mapes is out and other CBS big wigs are out. But most importantly, the TRUTH is out. I won't go so far as to say that evryone at CBS has political bias, although their actions and words lead one to that conclusion, but all of those involved in this story are guilty of political bias and have been found out. I think it is a shame! I am glad that CBS took the proper steps, and their steps prove they know there was political bias, in getting rid of the so-called journalists. So-called they may be, but journalists they proved not to be. Anyway, for those who do not think there is not a bunch of left-wing, radical liberals in the media that are continually blaming the U.S. for every mistake, calamity and mishap that happens in the world, think again.

Okay, You asked for it!

My friend John Mark has convinced me to post again. What a shame. Anyway, I will be thinking of VERY controversial topics to discuss and hope all of you will join in. Thanks for the reminder and the push John Mark. I am sure we will all regret it. The first controversial posting will be tomorrow. Be sure and check it out!

Anybody know how to fix this thing? Posted by Hello

What a Drag!

The radio quit working in my car today. Right in the middle of Hannity's show! I'm not sure I'll get over this.

THE PASSION

My wife and I just watched "The Passion of Christ" again. Wow! What a visual reminder of what our Lord did for us. It is also a vivid reminder of what I deserve. Thanks be to God that He has paid the debt of my sin and I will not have to suffer the wrath of God which is indescribable. He has poured His wrath over my sin on Him who knew no sin. He was made sin for us so that we might be made the rightousness of God in Him. Hallelujah!

Desperate For Ratings!!

I have tried to keep my thoughts to myself in regards to ABC's recent attempt at a spike in ratings. Their new show "Desperate Housewives" is an absolute disgrace. This is nothing more that soft porn on network television. They even thought enough of it to flaunt it on Monday Night Football. Their really proud of their perverted sexual depravity. They must have recently hired some sex starved pervert who just can't get enough. To have a show that promotes adultery, sex outside of marriage and lust on network television shows a serious mistake in judgment. Now I am not one for censorship, so far as pulling the show, because it offends "me". It does offend me, but I have a choice about whether or not to watch it. I have never watched it and I never will. That is my choice. Therefore, I am not saying they should pull the show. I just need to not watch it. However, when they continually run the filthy commercials for this x-rated masterpiece during the regular prime-time shows, I think they have gone too far. My wife and I have already been embarrassed in front of our children while watching other prime-time shows and seeing these perverts bump and grind all over one another. Also, they portrayed one of the slutty stars stripping down in a locker room and jumping into the arms of a pro football player. I'm sorry but I really don't want my daughters to think this is normal or even slightly acceptable behavior. And I don't want to have to explain to them that the woman on the show is simply a whore. But I guess that is what it will come to unless I throw my televeision out into the street and cry, "NO MORE!". But, like most Americans and sadly most Christians, I just haven't had the guts or the moral fiber to do it yet. Anyway, I knew ABC was desperate for ratings, but I never thought they would stoop to soft porn to get them.
